SCSI info when i plug in USB Drive

I just compiled a 2.6.11 kernel for FC1, but now when i plug in my USB drive, a bunch of SCSI information pops up on the console. Everything works ok, its just annoying. What config option could i remove from my next recompile to make this go away?
and also, how do i get rid of all my 2.4.22 stuff. just whatever refers to 2.4 /boot. or should i remove kernel-2.4.22.nptl.rpm?

I think you left some sort of debugging info option turned on in the console, normally the SCSI addressing stuff would end up in a system log, not all over your console.
