Hello people. I didn't know where to put this, but I'm trying to boot Linux so... And I know there is expert people
I have an old computer with 187MHz Pentium, IDE hard-disk and Adaptec AHA-2940UW SCSI-controller with SCSI CD-ROM drive. I've put the SCSI to boot from my BIOS, and enabled CD-boot from the controller.
It detects the CD-rom and says it has bootable CD on it. Then just:
No SCSI Boot Device Found.
BIOS Not Installed!
And doesn't boot. The adapter's ID is #7 and CD-ROMs is #6
