scrn freezes and scars


Hi,

My screen is frequently freezing and even the keyboard or mouse doesn't work.

I've been told to read the logs, But I don't know where thy are or what to look for?

Can you help me please?

So for example I would start by looking at the general log at /var/log/messages. After your system freezes mark down the exact time it happens. The look at the log, and see what was happening at that time.


on the command line you can look at the general log like this.

sudo cat /var/log/messages
