Scripting help. How to launch 2+ programs simultaneously.

I'm trying to run a script that contains 3 executables. When I run the script, it launches the first executable but I have to close that 1st executable before the 2nd one launches. Only when I close the 2nd does the 3rd launch, etc.

How can I launch all 3 at once?

Thanks.

Append an ampersand (&) symbol to the end of all the commands; That makes them run in the background. You can also use that trick when you're using the shell by hand. In fact, it's generally a good idea whenever you're going to lauch something that runs in a GUI window instead of in the shell.
