scripting


i have a pdb file and i have to extract the protein and ligand part separtely with help of linux scripting,please send me the script of the file so that i can solve the problem

i dont know if a .pdb file can be opened or read in a normal editor. Try strings filename.pdb

i have uploaded the text file in that text file we have to separate ATOM , ANISOU AND HETATM and others details separately using linux scripting

You need to provide details.

For one: What does the output supposed to look like? Telling us that some entries need to be separated doesn't tell us anything at all.

Also: What have you tried and what doesn't seem to work?
