Please find the strace results as attachments with the option vx . Filename output_cron ( it is with results of cron ) filename output_manaully ( it is with results of manually on shell ). it is a bash script not MSDOS.

Can't tell. What is the script? What are the files you are trying to run?

To me, it just looks like you are not doing something right. But you haven't provided any evidence of what that might be.

Below is the script that open browser in the backend, run java code and fetch some values. Again It works in the shell but not with cron. If i am point less at the moment.

/usr/bin/xvfb-run --auto-servernum --server-num=99 -s -ac /usr/java/jdk1.7.0/bin/java -jar /home/dikshit.rajkhowa/AutoScript/prod6.jar

To tell the truth I did not get why you need to run an x application from cron, but if you really think you have to do that you may want to take a look at xpra. This allows you to provide an x environment to a process you are spawning without actually having to use a real x-server. You can also attach to the x-session later if needed.
