script for downloading update for ubuntu 12.04 lts


Hi,

I just switch to linux " ubuntu 12.04" recently. how can I write a script to update/ install update for ubuntu version I am having now. Thanks in advance !!

If you mean about your system's automatic updates, just open your package manager/settings and make sure that the automatic part is enabled. If this isn't what you are talking about, then could you explain in greater detail what you are trying to do?
