Screenshots?
 

How do you take one in linux, yes this is one of the stupidest questions ever but I can't figure it out.

I tried pressing prtsc and pasting it but it doesn't seem to work.

I hate linux I don't know anything :(

open up gimp

file->aquire->screen shot

if you are using gnome or kde they both have small progs to take screenshots

man import

man xwd

if u r using kde press

crtl+print

I might as well add another solution. If you are running Redhat 8.0 hit the print/scrn button like you would in Windows.

I forgot to say that I'm using Gnome. Not sure if the same works with KDE.
