I am using Red Hat Linux 5 server remotely and want to connect to it remotely and view its screen (screen share) using a winodws m/c. How can i acheive this? I want to have full control of the linux box frm my windows. Please guide
I use putty for command line execution. I want the whole gui to be shared...similar to wat we do using netmeeting on windows...should i download vnc? or its already present?
Oh yes i installed it and was able to run a KDE session remotely. However, i have these problems:
1) in the KDE session thru vnc, the toolbars dont come come. (like we have in windows on click of windows button). The toolbar is present when loggin in locally though.
2) on running a shell/terminal window from vnc KDE, the shortcut commands are not working...
like if i do a cd /ho and hit tab, it shd replace it with cd /home/
its not happening. Is there some setting to turn it on?
