Screen saver and TV

Hi,

I have this beautiful screen saver on my linux box - which is a good thing.

I have this beautiful xawtv program working brilliantly - which is also a good thing.

Suddenly, the screen saver pops up - which is a bad thing, especially on the climax scenes

How do I stop this thing happening? My monitor should go blank, after 30 min, but only when I don't use the PC - not when I watch TV or movie. Possible?

not that i know of. Just move your mouse once in a while and that should fix your problem.

Yes, I do move my mouse. Actually, I programmed my remote to work under X using lircmd. It sends signals like moving mouse. But, I thought it is a workaround and there must be a better way. Any way, thanks.
