screen resolution too low
Hi, I just loaded Ubuntu 8.10 this morning to my old, clean-wiped Toshiba Dynabook Satellite, but can only get a 800x600 screen resolution, which means about 20% of my screen right now is black. This is the highest ressolution option that I have under the Setup. The computer has an Intel Pentium III. I have searched the forums and tried a number of fixes with no luck. Here is my system config:

This is very frustrating. I don't know if I am missing a driver or something and I am a complete Linux newbie. Can anyone walk me through a fix? |
