Screen Problem When Installing!!

Hello All

I am trying to install Fedora 13 on my hpdv6000, but every time i run the installation disc my screen becomes fuzzy, with lines running across it horizontally and the dialog boxes are split into thirds across my entire screen. Does anyone know what the problem is and how I can fix it? It's been frustrating me beyond belief.

Thanks!

I think there is problem with your chipset.

Why not get some LiveCD's from several different distros and try them out. If you get the same problem with all of them, then that would suggest it's hardware related.
ciao,

i dont think so

i think distro means you need to configure your
video card or graphic card
in short your graphic card is not supported by the distro

i think you need to download it or configure it

What card or chipset are you using? is /etc/X11/xorg.conf configure with the proper driver? Try using some other live cds as suggested above and see how they work.
