Screen Locks up when inactive

My Debian Etch machine screen locks itself after I don't use it for a while requiring that I re-enter my password. I find this annoying and want to disable this but can't figure out the secret.

You configure this as one of your screensaver options. The screensaver options are somewhere in your desktop settings. Are you using Gnome or KDE?

Smile Thanks

I used to know that but had totally forgotten. I am using Gnome and your suggestion got my problem fixed.
