Exclamation Screen is line-blurred after wake from sleep, DOES NOT RESPOND!

I don't know what it is. Its been doing it from day 1. After I close the notebook lid (sleep), I will open it, and the screen will have a continuous blur of red/green lines. Maybe its a video card driver problem? (I don't think so) I Don't Know! It do not stop. It do not do crap. I wish I could have saved.... 20 documents, but it did this, and continues to do it.

For Dessert:

A .... WTF... ooo ah?!

A really really really really COOL! animation... like.. screen.. blurriness happens right before I shut down. Its really really cool. Its like something out of the matrix, but not numbers, and not fast. Its a slowly progressing screen of... lined abstract green colored... something, and its I guess.. it turns from 2D.. to 3D slowly. As if the screen is draining of... power? Or... something? If I am bored enough.. I might just post a video of it on Youtube. It is definitely not a screen saver, but definitely SHOULD BE, and have a longer time frame (its roughly 5-7 seconds).

If I do post a vid, its Http://www.youtube.com/FilmPA

Try switching out of X-Windows by pressing CTRL-ALT-F1 (or some other F-key) - this will put you into a console terminal mode. From there simply re-enter X-Windows by pressing ALT-F7 (assuming that your configuration runs X-Windows on the default console number 7).

This flip-flip action will enforce X to rebuild it's visual contents just as it does during startup. This had helped me with similar problems. Hopefully it will work in your case as well.
