Screen crash after installing Nvidia drivers on slackware
 

Hi, I really need some help fast!

I recently upgraded my system from slackware 10.0 to slackware 10.1, and everything went fine, untill i installed Nvidia drivers. Now, when i do ctrl+alt+backspace to shutdown the x-server, I am unable to see a single thing, except a lot of coloured dots all over the screen... please help me!!

Probably conflict between framebuffer used in text mode and nvidia drivers. Remove framebuffer. The bad news is that if it's build into the kernel you need to recompile it.
