SCP


Hi,
I have problem with scp command.Already firewall is off and ssh is installed. please troubleshoot

You need to give us much more detail.
What machine/OS is at each end?
What cmd did you use and exactly(!) what error msg did you get?
Try the cmd with one or more -v (verbose) switches.

Can you ssh directly to the remote machine?

Ok, you have a ssh client but is there a server sshd running.

Try to see if the server is running:
/etc/init.d/sshd status

(or somthing like this depending on distro)
try copy some file thrue the network to /tmp

scp -v <somefile> <youraccount>@localhost:/tmp
