scheme in emacs


hi,
I just download scheme interpretor but I like to know does emacs have scheme mode already even though I did not down know scheme seperately??

yes at least mine does
try
emacs test.scm
at the bottom it should say "Scheme"
ok but just because it has the mode doesn't mean it doesn't need the scheme interpreter installed
without scheme installed
alt-x run-scheme
says "no such file or directory"
