scanpci returns fatal error & modem init string?
 
1. when using "scanpci" I recieve the following

Fatal Error:
xf86EnableIOPorts: Failed to set IOPL for I/O

What does that mean, and just recently that command was working.

2. How do I determine my modems init string? It is a pci modem, and when scanpci was working it saw that the pci modem was there and knew its information.

3. So I assume that it recognizes it and that I wont need any additional drivers or such. Is this correct??
