How do I get an HP Scanjet G4050 scanner to work using CentOS 6.2. I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks.

What have you tried?

I generally use xsane to connect to my scanner. If you don't already have it installed, I also would suggest installing HPLIP. If you are using a GUI, the HPLIP-GUI is normally a separate package. They should be in the repos.
