Angry scanimage recorded black images, what happened?

I used scanimage to grab images from a web cam, xawtv works perfectly well, but scanimage does not. I used the command scanimage -d v4l:/dev/video0 > image.pnm. I tried -T options, it is working, I used test backend, everything ok. When I used --test-image=yes, the same problem happened: black image. I used batch option, and just got bunch of black images, Nothing else. Can anyone help? Thanks.
