Exclamation /sbin/udevd -d running many times over, slows system to a crawl


When I do "ps -aux" I get this:

Running over and over hundreds of times. What I posted is just a small portion. Whats going on? After Im on linux for a while the whole system slows to unusable-ness.

Keeps happening even after installing latest updates. Running Mandriva 2010.

Oh I noticed its saying udevd --daemon. When the computer starts it actually would be /udevd -d. I tried killall /sbin/udev to clear it out, and then restarted udevd with the --daemon option to see if that would do... anything. Obviously, it didnt.

No ideas eh? Well crud. While its a very windows-ish solution, looks like I get to reinstall.
