Saving work with Dyne Bolic

I find the CD booting set from Dyne Bolic kinda fun. But how would one SAVE any work done, especially if it is larger than a floppy can hold?

I'd like to have it set so I could use Audacity for some sound editing and thewn save to a hart drive or CF card. Then, when I'm on the road, I could carry a "studio" with me on the CD for radio news editing,

TIA
