I just right click save link as,and then open xmms or whatever and play that file shoutcast.pls
but that only saves the location
he means the music it self to his hard drive |
http://streamripper.sourceforge.net/srdownloads.php looks like it might work?
go into XMMS preferences, and choose the Input Plugin that says "MPEG Layer." click on configure, then the streaming tab. there should be an option to "save stream to disk" and a place to enter a path to save it to.
there is also a app for recording real player streams it is called realrecord or something like that. it is at www.kde-apps.org
streamtuner is a cool little app, too.
It is the Disk Writer plugin under Output plugins within Audio I/O plugins
