Save mac address even when I reboot


Hello,
I need to save mac address (that I already changed it) even when I reboot.
Any help?

How are you changing it? If it's through the command line, then try adding the commands you issued to change it to /etc/rc.d/rc.local.

I had /etc/rc.local
& I had /etc/rc0.d , rc1.d

should I put these commands into the rc.local?

Which distribution are you running? If your profile is correct, you say you are running Kubuntu; and Kubuntu (like the other *buntus) should have an /etc/rc.d/rc.local file.

If you have an /etc/rc.local, though, you can add it to there.

You should really avoid making any modifications to the /etc/rc#.d files, especially when it's for custom, user commands to be run on boot. Hence why you should always add your custom stuff to /etc/rc.local.
