Satellite tv and dvb-s suppport

I have a satellite antenna and Twinhan pci card that allows me to view free to air tv and other stuff. But this is on Windows.
Is there a linux distro that has support for satellite tv in rpm type of package without having to compile code or similar

Bear in mind that if you are using a 2.6.x kernel you likely have the required modules already included. Try modprobe first before installing or compiling a new kernel.
