Thumbs up SARG and Squid 3

Initially sarg was installed in /etc/squid whereas squid3 was in /etc/squid3\

Well in that scenario Sarg would give me empty reports so "In my INFINITE WISDOM" i decided to cut the files from squid and put them in squid3 thinking that they gotta be in da same directory to work right ? Well yes and no. Now i get this error.

SARG: (language) Cannot open language file: /etc/squid/languages/English

also where can i edit the path to the language file. that would solve the issue right ?

Is there a specific directory or way to install sarg to get it to work.

Thanks guys for all the help so far. Now this Linux thingy doesnt seem so hard or complicated anymore. Your guidance is very much appreciated...

cheers

Hi Nehraaz,
I notice that the sarg package contains this:
Code:
/usr/share/doc/sarg/LANGUAGES.sarg.php
Maybe that will give you the information you need.
Cheers and good luck,
jdk

Cool

Sorry about that. I was trying to create a new thread coz i realized not to make the old one too long as the previous issue was resolved. I am new here but i will do my best to abide by your rules. Thanks for the help.

Anyone has any ideas ? re-instaleed sarg but still stack smashing error comes up.
