Hi,

I am currently using open Suse 11.2, After installing all the *upgrades shown in Yast software management . when i look the next time i reboot the same upgrades are displayed again if this makes any sense!!!.

so pattern of events as below

1. click on install software
2. click UPGRADES tab
3. various upgrades shown that are not installed
4. i install all the upgrades
5. look again at install software and upgrades section and there are none now
6. look after reboot next day and all the upgrades i thought i had installed are shown again.

most of the upgrades shown are to do with ffmpeg,dvdstyler,gstreamer,gstreamer plugins,vlc

I do have multiple repositories setup ,so is this causing the problem, especially Packman

Appreciate someone's help on this

I have had a problem with 11.2 regarding updates. I suggest one of 2 things either reinstall (this worked for me) or remove all but the official repositories and try again, I recommend trying the second one first as it would be quicker!
