Same IP address to all the clients
 
Hi Team,

I am running a HP server and wanted issue same ip address to all the clients. Just wanted to know how will that be posiible. Server is using Linux 2.0 and clients can have any OS. Please advise.

That doesn't make any sense - each client needs a unique IP at the time it is connected

Your clients on the local network HAVE to have distinct IP addresses, otherwise networking will not work. It's a different thing if you want them to identify themselves with the same IP to the outside world, which is actually a task that is handled by router appliances or applications that modify incoming/outgoing TCP packets between the Internet and the local network. This kind of task is called IP masquerading and you will need to catch some good book or tutorial about TCP-networking, because dealing with this needs some mental preparation.
