Same disk name to point to same physical disk on all nodes

Hi I am trying to install a oracle RAC (2 nodes) and the I have HP 6400 EVA, and my nodes are HP DL 380 g7

OS - OEL 5.6 (64bit)
Multipath - device-mapper-multipath-0.4.9-23.0.8.el5
kernel - 2.6.32-100.26.2.el5 x86_64

the mapping on each nod is different since if I log in to node one do the following command

on node 1

/usr/sbin/oracleasm createdisk DISK02 /dev/dm-2
Device "/dev/dm-2" is already labeled for ASM disk "DISK02"

on node 2

# /usr/sbin/oracleasm createdisk DISK02 /dev/dm-2
Device "/dev/dm-2" is already labeled for ASM disk "DISK03"

this is wrong since dm-3 should have said DISK02 not DISK03 like the node1

if I am right above is due to incorrect mapping of the dm-n names. Can some one tell me how to point (or correct) how to point the same physical disk from the SAN to the same logical maping

Thanks regards

Hi All did some digging and found following information, the out put of the multipath -d -l on both the nodes and I can see the dm-? mappings to wwnid are different on each node. is there any way that I can instruct (configure) multipath driver to keep the mappings consistent across the nodes?

I need to get this sorted out as soon as possible please
