Question Samba vs Xp


I've been trying to see my windows xp box, but every time i acess the trhough samba, it keeps asking for my user and pass. Even if i enter it. Ive been scratching my head about what i did wrong. Does anyone know why that is hapenning?

i think this is by design.... I could be wrong, but if you dont want to give a username and password

a. Setup so that all shares are allowed guest full access.
b. Setup samba as a Domain Controller.

I think A would be best if you just have 1 or 2 computers.
