Question SAMBA vs MAC (apple)

hi, i got a problem with samba and netatalk on Mandrake 9.1.
The problem is, that server for Macs is running and folders are shared, but Macs donīt see it. I have read many how tos but it seems no one had this problem before. I have to tell you, I am newbie so i donīt really understand it.

All is running through samba (swat) and i configure it on webmin interface. It was only way how to do that in one day. (Ihave never installed Linux before :-).

Samba is running for windows properly. Appletalk donīt see Linux box neither on TCP nor on Appletalk.

I donīt know what is wrong.

Shame is that Mac don īt have ping or something to test it.

I would be glad for answers tips, links, whatever.

PS:excuse mine broken English :-)
