semi resolved
well after lots of shout swearing et-al
i got my account to work. to logon with having to give it password etc in global put security = share -- Well I decided ok webmin thinks its read/write, samba has other ideas, so I right clicked on one of my folders, to add a share. No sharing options, so I reinstalled everthing, even though it said it was there. Bingo add a share and it works! PROBLEM Now with my girlfriends account it says, could not change permissions. they are set to my norm of 755. oh am trying this from my account. if anyone could give, me a shove in the right direction, of how to change the config file, so users can add shares themselves. any ideas on this one? |
