Samba problem connecting to windows share

On my linux machine i want to connect as a samba client on a Windows 2000 Server share.. im running on redhat 9 NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE

This error (as it says) indicates there is a problem with your login credentials. Is your Linux username different than what you use to log into the Windows server? If so, you need to specify the Windows username in the command by using
Quote:
-o username=myname
Is the Windows server a member of a domain? If so, you may also need to include the domain name in your user id.
