Exclamation SAMBA problem

Hello everyone... I am a newbie in LINUX, i have setting up a mandriva 2007.1 spring on my system. The problem is while i've finished setting up samba ( in a very standard way ) which is from control center, mount points, and i made it to allow all users. And then from the konqueror i choose my folder & create 1 more folder (/home/ovan/test_share)
But somehow from the other computers which is connected via LAN could only see the folder that i've shared it... if i try to open it it always request for a password. In facts i never put any password for that.... what is wrong with my samba / sharing folder

What does your samba config look like: /etc/samba/smb.conf

make sure you allow the users to have access to the folder you have just created, check the properties of the folder. Also, you may want to have you users in groups, i.e. a samba group and change the properties of the folder for that group.
