samba login problem


I have samba server in rhel4 and more then 300 windows
clients are login on this server.

But i have facing some problem since last one week.
problem is when some user is login in this server the
client is does not loged it. the messaage " the domain
is not available or the user account is not found pl.
contect to administrator".

After that some time compuer is restart or try for 10
to 15 time client is loged. otherwise i put this
compter in workgroup and rejoin to domain. and it will
be work.

this prob, is daily facing on 4-5 computer.

so why this problem is happaning. and give me the
soluation.

do you have any more information?

Are the users on a NT domain? Local accounts? NIS? LDAP?

Is there a user limit on the samba server?

Firewall blocking more that X connections?

is your NIC becoming too saturated? Dual NICs?
