How about some info?

Which Linux distro are you using?

Check your logs:

/var/log/syslog
/var/log/messages
/var/log/samba/* especially smbd.conf

How about the output of ps -ef | grep smbd

You need to give a lot more detail for anyone to go close to helping you.

paste the relevant portions of your los here, and give accurate accounts of errors, etc.

Don't expect miracles or mind reading

If Samba's not working, then the daemon is not running (smbd), or you have somehow lost your configuration. Start poking through files in /etc/samba, and look in /var/log/messages, /var/log/syslog, and any samba logs.
