Samba and XP

Hi. I have a problem
I have installed and have a simple Samba file server in my office...
I am able to log in and share files with win 2000 pro

However the XP stations dont seem to be able to access the server.

The server icon can be seen, but access is not granted.
smbpasswd has been added and everything is set as in win 2000's working ways...

Does anyone happen to know the solution to this that I'm facing

thks

You need to examine your XP system policies & services. Turn off the firewall(s).
