samba and file premisions question.

I have some samba shares but what I am trying to do is make it where all the folders and flies belong to the same group, and if a user makes a new folder or file it automaticly sets the folder or file to that group.

also when ever i try to chgrp filename * it will not let me use a wild card ?

From man page:

NAME
chgrp - change file group ownership

SYNOPSIS
chgrp [-fhR] group file...

chgrp -R [f] [-H | -L | -P] group file...

DESCRIPTION
The chgrp utility will set the group ID of the file named by
each file operand to the group ID specified by the group
operand.

You can also use "forcegroup". it will cause all files newly created in that share to the same group and will be whatever you designate.
