Hi, could the smbclient command be what you're looking for?
other useful commands :
  • smbtree - A text based smb network browser
  • smbget - wget for samba

All these should be included in the smbclient package of your distro.

From the client side you can access the samba share on samba server through this command for an example:

Code:
# smbclient //<IP-address-samba-server>/<samba-share-folder-name> - U <username>
Also check the man page of smbclient.
