Question sabayon -xsistence help !!!

hello ppl, im a linux noob !.
i have come across sabayon 4.1 it s a great distro..the looks and feel is good
im tryin to create a persistent usb...i have read the wiki,..but since i dont have a HDD instalation of sabayon im not able to follow some of the steps...but i think i managed the steps coreectly usin windows and live dvd of sabayon!..
but..im running into some trouble when using xsistence..heres the steps i did

Code:
http://wiki.sabayonlinux.org/index.php?title=HOWTO:_Bootable_USB_with_persistance

the wiki basically tell abt creating two partitions and installing live usb in one and enabling xsistence in the other..
so i created two fat32 primary partion in my 4gb pendrive from LIve dvd and installed the live system and modified the isolinux (added xsistence to boot line ) as specified...from windows..and then added the xsistence-mode file to other one from yeah live dvd..

the live dvd booted but..wen i look up the booting steps in "verbose" mode..[in the first boot it creates a file called..sabayon.xsistence.ext3 and wen i restart and boot again...]it says image found or something..and then unable to mount img file in /dev/sdb2..this is wat i find in the log file too..

i tried again changin the partition to wich xsistence was saved, to ext3..still no change..

then i tried as per the wiki instruction..i mean jsut added the xsistence to boot line and inserted another usb...with xsistence-mode file..still it doesnt work!...

im using sabayon4.1 kde version, and all the while..im booting the live dvd from usb as said above..
so..wer did i go wrong...can somebody guide me in the right direction..or tell me which step was wrong !

i later did everything almost as per the wiki, xept the first part i formatted the pen drive intially inot a ext3 and ext2 partiton and then installed the live dvd in ext2 and xsistene-mode in ext3...all from sabayon live dvd...,the first boot i get this error..something like this...cannot create xsisitence no loop back device found in /dev/sdb2 "

installing sabayon is not an option for me at the moment..

i dunno if XSISTENCE works in sabayon 4.1 can somebosy confirm this!!
and also if possible tell me hoe ot make a persistent usb or..wer i went wrong in thee above steps...

loopback devices ?!...
