How can I run Windows under my linux??

is there a program like virtual pc for linux??

have you tried knoppix or a live disro? you can boot it off the cdrom and not install anything. its not like running linux WHILE running windows, but you have the freedom to boot to a different OS

S.D.Willie's suggestion is more for dual booting OSs, which isn't what you seem to want. For a Windows environment in linux I've heard of Win4Lin and VMWare, as well as the Wine/WineX/Cedega compatability layer (see http://frankscorner.org/ for howtos&working apps list).

Your best bet is VMWare. The only problem is no direct hardware access so no commercial games can be played in the virtual win. Win4Lin only works for win98 i think. Winex has been renamed cedega and its only for games. Wine is emulation of win32 apps in linux, check out there website.
