Running Shoutcast on Gentoo

Hi, Ive installed Gentoo or the first time at home here and I got to say for a newbie like me it was a nice experience

Anyway, Currently I DJ for an internet radio station using winamp and the shoutcast DSP plug in. This all runs on windows XP.

What is the recommended equivalent for Linux (esp for the Gentoo distribution)? I dont want to host a streaming server, nor do I want to broadcast to shoutcast itself.

Any recommendations would be helpful. I also posted this in the "newbie" section as Im a newbie and have only limited linux experience.

Icecast + IceS would be a good alternative. But it isn't easy to set them up.
