Running remote X application

Hello Friends,

I am trying to run remote X application of CentOS 5 in Fedora 8.

I am doing following things.

CentOS machine...

Code:

xhost +fedora8
export DISPLAY=:0

Feodora 8 machine...

Code:

xhost +centos
export DISPLAY=:0

Now trying to run X app of CentOS from Fedora

Code:

ssh centos
root@centos: ****

# xterm -display fedora8:0

And it gives error. Error is

Quote:

xterm Xt error: Cannot open display %s

I am sure I am doing something wrong in exporting DISPLAY var. I don't know how to solve problem. I read this thing in Fedora 8 bible and I tried it. But I failed. Please help me out...

this is what I did,
assume connect from fedora8 to centos5
ssh -X usrname@centos5-ip.addr

on centos,
under /etc/hosts,
make sure you have, 127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
and under /etc/ssh/sshd_config,
X11Forwarding yes

X11Forwarding was enabled, but... I was making mistake in executing command that runs remote X application. :-)
