Running Opera

Newbie here with RH 7. I downloaded the Opera 5.0 rpm. As root I rpm -i Opera....rpm. Everything goes fine. I go to usr/share/Opera, but how do I actually run it? I do not see a runme.sh file or anything similar.

The binary is possibly /usr/bin/opera. Try to run that.

Yes it is there! Ok, now how do I make a shortcut to put on my desktop or on the toolbar? I can copy the file and that works but I do not think that is how you actually would do it.

if you use kde or gnome, it should be in the internet submenu now, try looking there, else try simply typing opera in the command line

Ok, the Opera link was there and works. I also dragged it to the desktop for a shortcut there. Thanks!
