Running an exe file on a dedicated virtual server at media temple linux based.

Hi,

Im trying to install a trading program fx trading station II on a dedicated virtual server that's linux based at media temple. Any ideas on how to run the program so that the exe file isn't prompting to download the file instead of prompting the user to login and trade?

Cheers

Considering that is a Windows program, it won't run under Linux unless you've installed Wine. Or do you mean the dedicated host is Linux, but the VM is Windows? Can you give us some details about the server and what you've done to try and get it working?

I'm under the impression that the "fx trading station II" product is
part of a subscription service and can't help but think that you're
trying to circumvent their licence by offering a per user product up
to varied people over a web service.

I'm for the time being closing this thread; if my interpretation of
what you're trying to achieve is incorrect please contact me via
e-Mail and explain - happy to re-open the thread if this is a legally
clean thing you're trying to achieve.

Cheers,
Tink
