Run Level 3 Font Size Question (NEWBIE)

I am running FC3 and would like to run at init 3. I would like to get more than 80 characters per line but I can't seem to find where to change it. I have done many searches but I think I am searching for the wrong things. Any help would be appreciated.

I think you probably need to use a framebuffer for that sort of thing. I've never done it myself, because I've heard it requires a kernel recompile. Perhaps this HOWTO would be useful.

You will almost definitely need framebuffer support as stated above. Standard VGA (old-style) only supports the 25x80.

Thank you for your replies. The above HOWTO looks like what I am looking for.
