Smile rtl 8168c red hat 9 driver


hi every body.....am stuck with network issue,

i installed red hat 9 on an asus p5kpl-se ,

it didn't recognised my lan card.... i've spent days to sort out ,

can somebody help, just fed up, i even tried upgrade my kernel , this also didnt work ....

i just want to give internet access to my pc... HELLLP !!!!

If you think it is a card driver issue try install other linux distros, say Ubuntu or Mint. Most cards supported by mint. That was my experience, I usually fall back to Mint if drivers are getting problematic with other distros.

RH 9 is SO BLOODY OLD
it will not even install on new / current hardware
there is NO SUPPORT for hardware made after 2003

you will NOT be able to install anything on it
DO NOT USE IT !!!!!!!

if you need Red Hat
then install the CURRENT one
RHEL6.2
RHEL is also NOT free
you MUST buy a support license

if you are not going to pay for red hat then DO NOT USE it
there are two free builds of it
CentOS and ScientificLinux
install one of those .
