RPMs just not working?
 

hi all, i downloaded portsenty from freshrpms.net, and installed it, it said it was done but when i went to edit the config files nothing was there... this has happended a lot latly and i was wondering what am i doing wroung? What would be causing this?

i usually use "rpm -i -h packagehere.src.rpm"

you're installing a source rpm, all it's done is place some uncompiled code at /user/src/RPMS/

you need a compiled RPM.

so on root where would this path be?
