RPMs - FC4 v. RHEL4

Howdy,

I've been looking around various places and determined that NO ONE publishes RPM's for RHEL4. I successfully installed an applications (BlueFish) on RHEL4 from an FC4 RPM, though. Are there any circumstances where this would not hold true? Or are any FC4 and RHEL4 RPM's interchangable? Thanks so much.

I don't know. You could check what version of glibc is used on both RHEL4 and FC4. If both use the same version of glibc then the chances of rpms being interchangable is fairly high. You can check the glibc version number using rpm:
rpm -qi glibc
