RPMs and Dependencies

Ok I have suse 10.1. I am looking for programs to transition myself away from Windows. I saw kplayer which looked like a good possiable media player ... hopefully.
My question.. is there a way to download an rpm like kplayer and it will automatically find out what dependencies it has and give you the option to install or download them? I know you can wih yast for programs that come with the os but for rpms i download off the net what can I do??
Thank you.
